Art. Ideas. Sound. Technology

The future is now.

Featuring more than 300 Australian and international sonic and visual artists, creators and composers, Now or Never is Melbourne/Narrm’s newest large-scale festival celebrating digital art and future thinking.

Taking over city streets and venues – from late-night club spots to stately historic buildings – an essential lineup has been curated for a cutting-edge program of spectacular art installations, adventurous music performances and thought-provoking experiences. Audiences will be transported to a place where technology rarely goes alone.

This is an open invitation to explore the future, in the present. A call for curiosity and collective awe. A leap into the unknown. It’s now or never.

A large glass box in the city streets. Inside the box is a writing machine which is creating reems of paper which are hanging up inside. A woman crouches on the ground inside the box, folding the paper that the machine has created. A couple stands outside the box on the pavement, holding one of the pieces of paper about the size of a newspaper and reading it together.
